Kotaku reports that Tienchang Networks, makers of the Chinese MMORPG Datang, is parceling out chunks of a 100-acre plot of land in the scenic Zhejiang area to 10,000 of its players, almost as if they are planning a nerd suburb:

A scenic area in Zhejiang has given Tianchang 49 percent share for the right of use privileges to the land. In return, Tianchang added a virtual area in Datang named after and resembling the Zhejang scenic area.

I’m not sure how that exchange works, or even what the players are allowed to do on the land, but one thing is for sure: this is almost as cool as the dodgeball that came in the Bully special edition. Almost.
