Perhaps someone can answer an audiophile question. Could Sony's VGP-USP1 travel speakers provide good sound? At 2 watts, there's little in the way of juice, but it appears to have a wide surface area, which suggests better frequency response.
At barely an inch thick, however, they do at least solve the portability problem through clever design rather than simple miniaturization. All else we know is that it weighs a mere 18.3-ounces: I assume the USB connector is simply to grab power from the bus.
