Skeletal and massive, the curious catamaran spotted in the Port of Ilwaco, Wash., has made itself quite the mystery. Numberless and nameless, and operated by a surly civilian crew, the craft might be a prototyle produced by Antrim Associates based on designs by oceanographer Ugo Conti.
