(They) say eggs that are malformed but fertilized are a ready source for stem cells thought to hold the key to curing many diseases. Fertility clinics now discard the eggs because they do NOT seem capable of surviving in the womb.

I hate to tell these guys, but eggs that are fertilized, even if they're "malformed," are considered to be human beings by the religious right, and this will not overcome the president's objections.
