I don't know about you, but when it comes to stem-cell research, I rely entirely on the expert opinions of celebrities. I'll take the cast of "Law & Order: SVU" over a bunch of know-nothing scientists any day.

The foes of a stem-cell ballot measure in Missouri are hoping I have lots of company.
In a new ad, a handful of sports stars and Hollywood types urge viewers to vote against stem-cell research. Patricia Heaton of "Everybody Loves Raymond" takes a break from Albertsons ads to give her two cents, along with Jim Caviezel (who played some guy named Jesus in "The Passion of the Christ") and a couple baseball players.
The ad will reportedly air Missour-uh (as Michael J. Fox pronounces it in his stem-cell ad) during the World Series game tomorrow night.
One question: Why are the production values – especially the sound – so godawful?
