At long last, Apple has stopped competing with Microsoft fairly! A small number of iPods shipped from the factory with a Windows virus pre-installed – and hundreds of journalists were there for the launch party.
According to Apple itself, "less than 1 percent" of all video iPods sold since the revisions announced at the Sept. 12 "It's Showtime" event have carried along the RavMonE.exe virus, which only affects Windows machines.
Apple's very contrite about it, stating that only 25 known cases of thevirus have been reported, but don't hesitate to mock Windows, too.
I'm sure Apple is so upset that a competitor's product has such a dramatic vulnerability compared to their own. Tsk. How disappointing. The battle has been joined again.
