A couple of friends IMed me last night to say that GirlfriendX was on Geraldo, so I waited for the show to blog it to see what they thought.
Turns out the (female) interviewer was all set to be offended, but after spending time with inventor Rick Pierce, she realized that the software is not intended as an insult. In fact, as I said in my column about it back in February, it just gives men a tool to do what we women already do in our heads, instinctively.
It's a fun little tongue-in-cheek application that can actually make life easier for the boys and the girls, if the boys are willing to keep up with the data entry.
