A new study released by researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the French Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique finds that super-thin layers of graphite, known as graphene, work well for use in nanotech devices. Because graphene circuitry can be produced using established microelectronics techniques, it may prove easier to develop in high volume than carbon nanotubes.
