Poland has denied a request by Iran to send researchers to the Eastern European country to look into this Holocaust thing. Ever since Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmeadinejad, expressed skepticism about the Nazis killing 6 million Jews, Holocaust denial seems to have become a fad among Iranian officials. And since Poland was the site of some of the Nazis' largest killing centers -- Auschwitz, Treblinka and Chelmno were all located on Polish soil -- the Iranians seem to think that's the logical place to go to debunk "the myth."

"Under no circumstances we should allow something like that to take place in Poland," Polish Foreign Minister Stefan Meller said. "It goes beyond all imaginable norms to question, even discuss or negotiate the issue." In a rationale world, Meller would be right. You can decide whether the world is rational or not.
