Patrick Norton over at PC Magazine has written a review of the four most popular BitTorrent clients. The introduction to the review contains a succinct, informative primer on how the technology works and why it behaves the way it does. Patrick also lays out some educated guesses concerning the future of the file sharing map.

The review bypasses a few of the less popular, more geeky BT clients in favor of the mainstream ones.

There's also an interview with BT creator Bram Cohen at the end of the piece. No shortage of Bram interviews lately, it seems.
