It's interesting that the first line of the article quotes the owner of one of the sites saying that he likes to hire college girls because brains are sexy. Damn right they are.
I suspect that men who want to think of women purely as receptacles don't get the same thrill from online sex chat that other men do.
And those men who like to talk to the women while the women perform – or who chat with the women for free, without even going into the for-pay section and getting more sexual – are going to be more appealing to women in the long run.
That is, if you're too shy to talk to a woman in person, but confident enough to chat with a performer and possibly pay her for more explicit chat and webcam activity, perhaps you can develop the confidence to talk dirty to women under other circumstances. No, not when we're walking down the street or working with you on a work project.
But when we've had a nice dinner, a glass of wine, as many pre-sex dates as both parties desire, or perhaps even a wedding... a woman likes a man who can make love to her with his words and his brain as much as (and sometimes even more than) his body.
